The word can mean a great deal of things: returning somewhere, finding something that suddenly feels like it was always meant to be there, but in the end it also represents the beginning of something new.
This album is on many levels a homecoming. The pandemic that led me back to my home country, the music that came to life during that time, the same music that then evolved into something entirely new with this trio; Juuso and Roope bringing their artistry into this group has created a new direction. This record is the first chapter on our collective musicianship, we all bring something to the mix, and the result can be heard in this set of original compositions.
