This edition in digipack format, compiles in just one CD the most of the three legendary albums Capitol Records released with Nat Cole singing classic Latin American songs.
All remastered in 24-Bit for demanding listeners
Nat King Cole's foray into singing in Spanish, was successful enough to led Capitol to record three complete albums: "Cole Español" (1958), "A Mis Amigos" (1959), and his most successful effort, "More Cole Español" (1959).
Capitol Records imported instrumental tracks recorded in Mexico and Cuba and had Cole sing over them, having learned the lyrics phonetically. A Mis Amigos, however, was recorded in Rio de Janeiro during Cole's South American tour of 1959, with Brazilian musicians in the studio alongside the singer. That, the benefit of experience, and the reception his concerts were receiving may have helped improve his performances.
