Steppin' Beyond is my awakening, where I'm reborn to offer a fresh album, rooted in jazz, made with the best of intentions. This album speaks of leaving, of abandoning cities, of rediscovering people; of how places that were once obsolete are now revealed as new.
Like Ulysses, I embrace change: the path of the ephemeral alongside the child we all carry within, viewed from the adulthood necessary to learn from it and laugh at the lessons learned.
And although luck is often not on our side, this attempt is nothing more than proof that it is possible: we can go one step further on this path we all share, no matter how many years pass.
