This CD contains the complete sessions for Johnny Coles debut album on Epic "The Warm Sound", which showcased the trumpeter fronting a quartet. The two tracks that were not issued on the original album are included here, as well as three bonus tracks originally recorded for EmArcy in a 1957 small band setting under the leadership of tenor sax Eddie Chamblee.
