Joan Monné

Born in Molins de Rei, Barcelona, Joan Monné combined classical studies with those of jazz at the school Zeleste and at the Taller de Músics. He has attended several seminars and international courses, where he has received classes, among other, of musicians like Dave Liebman, Mulgrew Miller, John Abercrombie, Ed Thigpen, Tete MontoliuKurt Rosenwinkel or Brad Mehldau. He has been teacher at several schools, like the conservatories of Cervera and Igualada, Taller de Músics (where he is coordinator of the Combo Area) or the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
