Moisés Sánchez is recognised as one of the main values of the Spanish and European music scene. With a language of his own and a rich combination of the most diverse influences, his creations transcend the usual boundaries between genres and are surprising for the wealth of resources employed just as much as for their fascinating vitality and originality.

Composer, music producer, pianist, improviser and arranger, he was a Latin Grammy nominee in 2019 for his album  Unbalanced: concerto for ensemble, and has received important awards in the USA and Spain for every album he recorded.

Moisés has collaborated as a pianist in recordings and live performances with notable and innovative musicians and projects such as John Adams and the Orquesta Nacional de España, Plácido Domingo, Benny Golson, Jorge Pardo, Chuck Loeb, Eric Marienthal, Wolfgang Haffner, Chano Domínguez, Ara Malikian, Perico Sambeat, Pablo M. Caminero, Ernesto Aurignac, Luis Verde, Cristina Mora, Javier Paxariño, Carmen París, María Toro, Pasión Vega, Nach, Noa Lur, Fernando Egozcue, Chema Vílchez, Maureen Choi and Gorka Benítez.

After more than 20 years with his inseparable trio, formed by Toño Miguel (double bass), Borja Barrueta (drums) and himself. A formation that has become one of the most consolidated on the Spanish scene, and that often incorporates guests of the stature of Cristina Mora (vocals), Miron Rafajlovic (trumpet, flugelhorn and electric guitar) or Michael Olivera (percussion and vocals). With these exceptional musicians, Moisés Sánchez has visited venues and programs as important as the Vitoria Jazz Festival (2021), the Madrid International Jazz Festival (2017, 2019), the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid (2019) or the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus de Tenerife (2019).

Moisés Sánchez builds parallel worlds to those of three of the historical creators that are a reference for any musician. A free reformulation from an eclectic, contemporary and imaginative perspective of these eternal composers. To do so, he is accompanied by unbeatable traveling companions, superlative musicians who follow him with enthusiasm in an inexhaustible game of textures, rhythms and harmonies full of color and liveliness.

Every recital by Moisés is unique, an exercise of absolute freedom from which flows the inexhaustible torrent that is his music. Beyond the boundaries between genres, Moises incorporates symphonic rock, classical, contemporary and jazz music into his own language.

Since he released Soliloquio, his first solo album in 2014, he has repeatedly ventured into this personal territory to open it up to the public.
