Born in Renes in 1992, Ludovic Ernault developed a passion for the saxophone at an early age. After classical training, he turned to jazz, building a solid musical foundation at the conservatories in Rennes and Saint-Brieuc. Since moving to Paris in 2016, he has earned a jazz diploma (DEM) from the Paris Regional Conservatory (CRR).

Ludovic developed an interest in composition early on and released his debut album, 'Next Fall,' in 2013. He subsequently signed with the legendary label Fresh Sound New Talent, releasing 'Dreamland' (2019) and 'Live' (2021)—two albums recorded as a quartet with Enzo Carniel, Florent Nisse, and Simon Bernier.

"Ludovic Ernault is one of the most interesting young saxophonists on the Paris scene today." – 'Jazz Magazine,' J.F. Mondot.

Alongside his solo work, Ludovic is a member of the group Lennie's, which received the Jazz Magazine "Révélation (Breakthrough Artist) award upon the release of their debut album in 2024. He has also collaborated with the Joachim Govin Trio on the albums 'Tree Vol.1' (2022) and 'Tree Vol.2' (2024), both of which earned the "Choc" distinction from Jazz Magazine and the "Indispensable" label from Jazz News.
