Sergi Sirvent (Barcelona, 1978) is a pianist, composer and improviser. At the age of six he began his classical musical studies passing through different conservatories and giving piano lessons with Mireia Puig, Emili Brugalla, Abel Castelló and Virgina Fargas, as well as studying up to fourth violin with Sara Bolaños. At the age of 17, he put classical aside and, due to his concerns regarding improvisation and composition, he delved into modern music and jazz (Música Activa, Center d'Estudis Musicals Passatge and Taller de Músics), and during these years It goes through different teachers and musicians from the scene such as Marc Vernis, Manel Camp, Joan Monné, José Reinoso and Albert Bover.
