Blue Moon, in its Masters Series, issued in chronological order the recordings of an important period in the musical career of certain outstanding artists. The CDs contains the master takes of the originally issued records, in order to offer the collector those that were considered to be the definitive performances. But also in its companion Alternates Series, all the preserved unissued recordings.
