Agustin Grasso
Agustin is a musician residing in Brooklyn, New York. He began playing music (drumset) at age 15 and continued his formal education at Escuela de Música Contemporánea (Berklee International Network) in Buenos Aires.
During this time he studied Latin American folk music traditions and instruments as well as jazz and African American styles.
He decided to move to the US in 2013 with the intention to study and play as much as possible with the living masters of the music called jazz as well as to immerse himself into the vibrant New York City music scene. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, The Bitter End, The Cellar Dog, Ornithology Jazz Club, Cafe Ornithology, the Airtrain Jazz Festival, Harlem Arts Festival, The Showman’s, Cleopatra’s Needle and many other music venues throughout the Tri State area.
