Biographical data may be few but we do have Felix Gross' music - fine, swinging R&B by an underrated artist who has mostly escaped the attention of re-issuers up to now. All songs on the records released under Felix Gross' name also bear his name as composer, and he is also listed as such on the Down Beat / Swing Time records by Sylvester Mike. As a bonus, we are including a release by "Lucky" Leon Davis on G.G. Records, on which the vocalist sounds identical to Felix Gross.
