Oam Trio

The OAM Trio is made up of three very exceptional players: Catalan drummer Marc Miralta, Israeli sensation Omer Avital and Aaron Goldberg - a pianist and composer based in New York City, who is working at the forefront of the creative mainstream in jazz.
"Turning Point" (1999, J Curve Records) marked his recording debut as a bandleader, while his second project entitled "Unfolding" (2001, J Curve), featuring his longstanding trio with bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland, was recently released to further critical acclaim. In addition to fronting his own ensemble, Goldberg has toured and recorded with saxophonist Joshua Redman's quartet.
The trio was featured on NPR's JazzSet and released its first album "Trilingual" (Fresh Sound New Talent) in 1999. When opportunity comes, Goldberg he also performs with master drummer Al Foster, vibraphonist Stefon Harris, saxophonists Jimmy Greene and Myron Walden and vocalist Melissa Walker among others.
Marc Miralta is a busy sideman with Jerry Gonzalez and his work with Seamus Blake and many other players in Spain and America.
