This release presents the two albums made by the great Eric Dolphy with Latin Jazz groups in their entirety. Although both albums were supposedly by the Latin Jazz Quintet, the only constant in personnel is the presence of Dolphy, who plays alternatively on alto sax, flute and bass clarinet.
As a bonus, is a 1961 track with a Latin feeling featuring Eric Dolphy taken from an all-star session with Max Roach as the leader.
