Born in 1994 (Blanes), starts music studies in the local school. In 2012 was accepted in ESMUC (Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña) with the best mark of the discipline. In the first semester of 2016 he moves to Graz with the Erasmus change. His teachers were: Julian Argüelles, Renatto Chicco, Michael Abenne, Gorka Benítez, David Xirgu, Albert Bover, Eladio Reinón...

He has played and recorded with musicians like Gilad Hekselman, Dick Oatts, Jorge Rossy, Jaume Llombart, Raynald Colom, Marco Mezquida, Dani Pérez, Andreu Zaragoza, Félix Rossy, Jo Krause, and Ramón Prats. With his trio LMJ Trio wons the second position in the “Grupa Azoty Jazz Contest” in Poland and he won the “Best Solist Price” of the competition.  

In the summer of 2017, LMJ Trio was selected to represent the jazz musicians from the Catalonian conservatory in the “Sienna Jazz Campus” (Italy). Also with this band they were choosed in “Musica als Parcs” and “Concurs de jazz dels païssos Catalans”. Besides, his band Lucas Martínez & Félix Rossy Trio won the contest “Dbut” (Joventut Musicals) and were finalist in the First and Second editions of “Talavera Jazz Competition”, ​the second contest with Vernau Mier Quintet.
 
He has played in a lot of festivals and clubs from Spain but also in other countries like: New York (USA), Graz (Austria), Sienna, Veneccia, Vicenza (Italy), Tarnow (Poland), Den Haag (Holland). And has assisted workshops and masterclass with: Peter Berstein, Michael Kanan, Doug Weiss, Bill McHenry, Bruce Barth, Randy Brecker, Mark Turner, Joe Magnarelli, Jorge Rossy, Marc Miralta, Javier Colina, Perico Sambeat, Gary Bartz...
