This CD includes two of the most famous Dean Elliott albums containing a bright, happy, contagious and different sound.
Elliott, a composer, conductor and arranger graduated of the University of Wisconsin, wrote tunes for the orchestras of Benny Goodman, Paul Whiteman, Harry James, and Les Brown, and also for singers such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Eddie Fisher, Martha Tilton, Mel Tormé, Margaret Whiting, and The Axidentials, among others.
Dean Elliott composed many scores for movie and television cartoons, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his background scoring for UPAs Mister Magoos Puddle Jumper.

The first album included here is the original jazz soundtrack composed and conducted by Elliott for the memorable film College Confidential, starring Steve Allen, Jayne Meadows, and Mamie Van Doren.
The second album is one of the most spectaculars albums recorded by the Dean Elliott Dance Band.
