"This album may be a by-product of the excellent double album Blue Moon produced in their series Los grandes orquestas del tango but nevertheless with this disc of Osvaldo Fresedo with Roberto Ray El Bandoneón have scored a real hit. The transfers are excellent; European tangueros no longer need reach for the BMG catalogue for a good Fresedo/Ray disc. If you want a recording of Fresedo's great 30s instrumental Tigre Viejo you'll still have to reach for the double album but otherwise pick up this one. Strongly Recommended."
