This release includes two complete original Verve albums by the Wynton Kelly Trio: "Undiluted" and "It’s All Right!". Stars like Kenny Burrell and Candido Camero appear as guests on some tunes, but the regular trio with Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb is the main force behind these recordings. The splendid rhythm section from the 1959-1961 Miles Davis Quintet is heard here in top form.

"The Wynton Kelly Trio (consisting of the pianist, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Jimmy Cobb) are augmented by guitarist Kenny Burrell and percussionist Candido on this 1964 set. The music is essentially easy-listening jazz with concise versions of ten numbers, including a rendition of Charles Lloyd's "One for Joan" that was only previously out in Europe [...] The best are "Portrait of Jeannie" and "On the Trail."
