This release presents A rarely heard performance at the 3rd Montreal Jazz Festival, one of his rare performances with star drummer Jack DeJohnette. The repertoire featured Rollins’ typical mix of standards, original tunes and the title track from Rollins’ soundtrack to the 1966 movie Alfie.
