Ben Webster with the Oscar Peterson Trio

Carefully remastered, this release presents a complete performance by the great Ben Webster backed by the Oscar Peterson Trio with NHOP for the first time ever on CD. The show was recorded in Hannover in 1972, a few months before the saxophonist’s death. This is the last existing testimony of Ben and Oscar playing together.

There is a bonus solo piano track by Oscar Peterson, recorded at the same place, same date.
