Review:
"The self-styled tiger of the bandoneón, Eduardo Arolas, was along with Vicente Greco and "Pacho" a hige figure in the early development of tango. He died of TB in Paris in 1924 at the age of 32. Had he lived, his contribution to the development of the tango in the 20s and 30s ould surely have been enormous.
The cover photo shows a guitar, but on most of these tracks Arolas is already using a piano giving the music more weight than we are are accustomed to for the music of this decadde The waltzes in particular are charming. De Vuelta y Media is not the milonga made famous by guitarist Roberto Grela."
