Harold's Souk is the new CD by the respected British Jazz trumpet player and composer Damon Brown. It is hard hitting but melodic music and, while very much in the modern jazz idiom, the CD has latin and groove influences that continually surprise the listener. You can really feel the warmth between the musicians involved on this recording. The great Ska trombonist "Rico Rodriguez" is featured on two tracks.
