Drummer/Percussionist/Composer Daniel Freedman is a musician on the rise, having played with Cecil Payne, Claudia Acuna, Tom Harrell and Stephon Harris.The New York native makes his recording debut as a leader on the FreshSound/New Talent label, featuring long-time collaborators Jason Lindner on piano and Omer Avital on bass. Mr. Freedman's compositions paint pictures of his travels in Africa, Cuba and the Middle East, while showcasing the trios unique and highly acclaimed sound.
