Sergi Sirvent & Santi Careta

This CD is the interesting encounter of Catalonian young musicians Sergi Sirvent Escué and Santi Careta who are shaping a thoroughly original approach to jazz improvisation. Santi Careta really makes the six strings on his guitar work, while casting a sideways glance at Grant Green. Lastly, he contributed to the namesake album Ballcock (FSNT-210), by the snipers of free-jazz-rock. Pianist Sergi Sirvent is a reminiscent artist of the Fresh Sound New Talent catalogue with Unexpected, his Free Quartet and his very personal project “Muses 9”.
