Creedence Clearwater Revival

Although they sounded like no other band, CCR redefined Rock & Roll. They showed, in the most entertaining way possible, how the music could embrace —and was, in fact, founded on— elements of R&B and the Blues, Country, Folk, and Jazz, as well as a world of other musical forms. Creedence were pioneers in the fusion of Rock and Country. They were 'roots' before roots took hold as a music genre.

This box set contains all 7 classic CCR's studio albums in expanded reissues, faultlessly remastered & repackaged, available for the first time together. Also included is a 116 page book with original album sleeves, liner notes by world-class rock music journalists, additional photos, pictures and memorabilia from the original Fantasy releases. All housed in a deluxe 'clamshell' box.

The first 6 albums come with extra tracks. The reissues are miniature reproductions of the original vinyl covers (including Pendulum's gatefold). The sound quality across all the discs is fantastic -remastered by Goerge Horn at Fantasy Studios- each album feels like new life has been breathed into them.

This dapper little box set is a sweetheart of a release really.
